~ Rare New Zealand Navy Sterling Sub Machine Gun MK4 L2A3 ~

Sterling SMG 9m/m MK4 (L2A3) Serial no KR25656 with folding shoulder stock and detachable marked magazine. This variant, the Mk4, or L2A3, was adopted by the British Army in 1953 and continued in service into the 1990s, seeing action in the Northern Ireland and Falklands War and many other conflicts. It is small and light and has been immortalised by films such as Star Wars, James Bond and Who Dares Wins.
