~ Portuguese Model 1886 Kropatschek Rifle Sword Bayonet ~

A nice Portuguese M1886 sword bayonet for the Guedes/Kropatchek rifles, made in Austria by Steyr, the excellent blade is marked along the spine Steyr 1886, it is complete with its original non-matching numbered blued steel scabbard.
The Scabbard is serial numbered GG737 and the bayonet D411.

~ Dimensions ~

The blade is 470mm (18 1/2") long and the overall length of the bayonet in its scabbard is 61.5 cm (24 1/4 inches).

~ Condition ~

The bayonet is in excellent condition with minimal wear.

The spring catch moves but the spring seems to be damaged.
