The Portsmouth Navy week was an event showcasing the power and prestige of the Royal Navy.
First started in Portsmouth in 1927, then extended to Plymouth and Chatham the following year, they allowed members of the public to be brought into direct touch with the work and life of the Royal Navy.
Navy Weeks were held between 1927–1938.
This programme dates to 1937.
Over its 80 glossy pages, it features information and photographs on all the events taking place as well as information on the various ships on show.
