~ Portsea Victorian Pewter Lidded Majolica Honey Pot ~
The base, lid and handle are of pewter. The handle has a sphinx and the lid is topped with a stork. The majolica ceramic body is of mottled green, brown and yellow.
The underside is stamped for pewter and also for the maker E & E Emanuel of 3, The Hard, Portsea. Emanuels were active from the 1820's to the 1870's.
~ Condition ~
Please refer to the images. The piece is in good order with no cracks. There are a few minor dings to the pewter from use. Please note there is no spoon.

The pot is 10.5 cm (4.25 inches) tall.
