A lovely identical pair of sterling silver salt shakers (or salt and pepper?) dated for 1891.

They are of baluster form with flared bases and ornately pierced lids with finials.

The shakers are both fully hallmarked to the body and both lids for sterling silver, London, 1891 with the makers stamp of ‘H.S’.

~ Dimensions ~

The shakers each have a diameter of 5cm and a height of 12cm.

The pair weigh 160g together.

~ Condition ~

One of the shakers has a tiny ding and a minor split to the body.

The pair are in otherwise lovely condition with only light surface wear commensurate with age.
