~ Pair Of Moulded Sevres Soft Paste Porcelain Cabinet Plates c1770’s ~
A stunning pair of 18th Century Sevres soft paste porcelain cabinet plates.
The plates are beautifully hand-painted with exotic birds in a landscape vignette within a bleu celeste border decorated with raised foliate gilding.
The reverse of each is marked with blue interlaced 'L' marks and a gilders mark possibly for Vande Pere.
~ Dimensions ~
The plates each have a diameter of 25cm (9 ¾ inches).
Together they weigh 990g.
~ Condition ~
The plates are in a superb condition with only some tiny spots of light wear to the gilt edges and with very minimal wear to the images.
