Original WW2 US Navy M1926 D-Day Floatation Belt

This is an M1926 floatation belt from World War 2 as issued to the United States Navy. The belt was produced by Eagle Rubber Co. INC. and is stamped “May 17 1944”. These were used by assault troops during amphibious missions and beach landings such as D-Day. Due to its date, this floatation belt may well have been used during the D-Day invasions. The belt features instructions on how to inflate, maker’s details and date.

*Condition*

The belt is in great condition for its age and usage. There is some rust to the metal parts but nothing significant. This is an excellent example of the M1926 Floatation Belt. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
