An original WW2 RAF headgear set comprised of a Type C Flying Helmet with training gosport set and a MK VIII Flying Goggles.

This set is indicative of those worn by RAF Aircrew during the Second World War.

The C type helmet comes with a set of original trayning 'shouted down' receivers and their tubes.

*Condition*

Both the type C helmet and the Mk VIII goggles are in reasonable condition considering its past working life. The goggles do not have its original strap and there is a crack in the left glass. The helmet is in better condition than the goggles as the leather is still robust and strong with only a few cosmetic marks. The accompanying wire/tubes for the helmet is in very good condition. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
