This is an original first aid pouch which would have been used by a German stretcher bearer during WW2. The pouch features the makers mark “Karl Barth, Waldbrol”, the 1940 date stamp and the Waffenamt stamp beneath that. The K on the lid stands for Kragentrager (stretcher bearer) and the R is to indicate that the pouch is to be carried on the right.

*Condition*

The pouch is in excellent condition for its age and usage. All the straps are strong and well made and the pouch has no obvious scratches or marks.
