Original WW2 German M42 Police Removed Double Decal Helmet

Genuine M42 Nazi Stahlhelm Early 1942 Production Excellent Condition

Here we have a 1942 produced Nazi M42 helmet in excellent condition, we have traced this helmet to the Emaillierwerk AG Fulda factory. It was originally a double decal Wehrmacht Police helmet, the decals have been removed. It retains its original Zinc plated headband with Sheep/Goatskin liner, and original chinstrap, and rough texture Grey Green paint.

*Condition*

This helmet retains the majority of its original paint although there is uniform and historic pitting to the interior. The chinstrap although brittle is in good condition, as is the liner but the string is missing. Overall and excellent example showing the patina you would expect from a helmet of its age and use.
