Webley & Scott produced a number of single-shot, break open signal flare gun devices used by Commonwealth Military Forces during the First and Second World Wars. The most prolific of these was the No.1 Mk III, produced in 1918 at the company's Birmingham facility. This is one of the iconic, No.1 Mk3 signal pistols from World War 1. This particular signal pistol is clearly marked with the Webley “winged bullet” and reads “Webley &Scott Ltd London & Birmingham” with the mark 3 and proof stamps.

*Condition*

This Mark 3 flare pistol is in great condition for its age and usage. There are some marks and dents over the surface of the pistol. The wooden grips have some very minor marks. Overall, an excellent collector’s item. Please see pictures for more detail.
