The stampings in this helmet seem to be indistinguishable but we believe this one to have been made in 1942 by the Eisenhuttenwerk Thale Factory. We believe that this particular helmet was originally a single decal helmet which has been over-painted with the red cross colours for a medic (probably attached to an SS unit).

*Condition*

The helmet has various marks and scratches over its surface to be expected with its age and use. This helmet has been well worn and used in service. Please see pictures for more detail as these are part of our condition report.
