Original Secomak Hand Operated Siren Type 447 with ARP Whistle

This is an original, hand-operated type 447 siren which was first introduced in 1945. It comes with a Whistle that would have been used during World War 2 by the Wardens of the Air Raid Precautions (ARP). The siren works as it should and can be very loud.

*Condition*

The type 447 Syren and the ARP Whistle are in great condition. The Siren has some patches of rust which is to be expected and there is some minor rust on the chain of the whistle. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
