This is an original M40 helmet from Nazi Germany in WW2. The helmet retains its original rough texture grey-green paint and has a completely visible single Pocher decal on the left side. This helmet was made by the Nickelwerk Schwerte factory on the 26th of March 1940. The helmet has a single decal from the army with a zinc and sheepskin liner.  NS64 D N series.

*Condition*

Overall the helmet is fantastic condition. The decal has toned and has gone slightly yellow. The paint work is in very good condition. The paintwork is showing the patina of the life it once had. The chinstrap is missing and the sheepskin liner is brittle but undamaged.
