~ Brass Merryweather Firemans Helmet In Original Condition ~

Victorian / Edwardian Merryweather Pattern Brass Fire Brigade Helmet This example with a high comb embossed with dragons to both sides and floral decoration. To the front a universal pattern fire brigade plate. Complete with brass rose bosses, which support an interlinked, leather backed chin chain. The interior retaining leather lining. Some age wear and service wear, but retains a good shape.

“Condition”

Some dents to shell, comb and peaks. Stitching faults to the leather and buckle to chin chain absent. A very good looking item.
