~ Original Cap of HMS Vanguard ~

HMS Vanguard was a British fast battleship built during the Second World War and commissioned just after the war in 1946.

Here we have a fantastic example of a original ratings RN (Royal Navy) cap which belonged to Vanguard's company, as seen in the pictures.

~ Condition ~

This rating RN cap is in good condition with slight discoloration on the top of the cap - which is to be expected after nearly 77 years. The right hand side chin strap has detached from the base, although this could be easily altered if one wished.

~ Dimensions ~

Measures 24cm by 8cm in diameter
