~ Original British 1853 Pattern Tower Enfield Unit-Marked Musket ~

This is an English Tower Enfield Musket dated 1861. This type of rifle was famous for being used in wars such as the Crimean War and the American Civil War. The stock bears the “Birmingham 1861” stamp. This particular rifle has the name T.Turner inscribed on the bottom of the stock and is unit marked on the top part of the brass. Possibly used during the American Civil War.

*Condition*

This Musket is in good condition for its age and usage. The ladder sight is missing and there is some insect damage to the wooden parts.
