~ Original 19th Century Belgian Double-Barrel Percussion Pistol ~

This is a double-barrel, percussion pistol from the 1800s. Both barrels are able to cock and dry fire and are made of twist steel as indicated by the text “Troxados de Aco” written between the two barrels (although it is clear to see). We believe it to have been manufactured in Belgium; however, the script between the barrels is Portuguese. Inside the gun, on the underside of the barrel, there are plenty of Belgian proof stamps and inspector marks.

*Condition*

The metal parts have an excellent light patina in keeping with its age. There are some very minor knocks to the wood and there is no ramrod. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
