This is a full length original 1845 pattern British Royal Navy cutlass. This is the true 1845 pattern (many were shortened in 1858) and has the original leather scabbard with its brass belt hook and chape. The cutlass still has the rack number of 1 on its hand guard.

*Condition*

The blade has some even, expected pitting on the surface and some slight paint damage on the hilt. The scabbard is still strong and functional with its brass belt hook and chape. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
