~ Nailfish By Patrick Pamkal - Aboriginal Australia Art 1982 ~

A piece of authentic Aboriginie art of a nailfish.

The back contains two information sticker sheets, one on the image and artist (and used as a certificate of authentication), and the other giving information on their belief. According to the sheet, the piece was Patrick Pamkal of the Ngalbon group in the Bamyili area of Katherine, Northern Territory in Australia, and is dated 29/7/82

The piece has been made using natural earth pigments and painted on eucalyptus bark.

~ Dimensions ~

The board has a length of 18.5 inches (47cm) and a height of 8 inches (20.25cm).

~ Condition ~

The piece remains in excellent condition. The colours are still vibrant. The information sticks are fairly worn but remain readable.
