~ Mid 20th Century German Silver Coffee Pot ~
A nice quality German made solid silver coffee pot dating to the mid 20th century
The pot is of cylindrical form with a bulbous base. It has a single handle and a hinged lid topped with a finial.
It has fluting to the body and raised rococo decoration to the top and bottom edges and to the lid.
The pot has German hallmarks to the base which includes a crown, a crescent moon shape and the silver purity mark ‘830’. The base is also stamped
with a serial no. of ‘300485’.
~ Dimensions ~
The coffee pot has a height of 21.5cm (8 ½ inches) and measures 23cm (9 inches) from spout to handle.
It weighs 475g.
~ Condition ~
There is a small dent/scratch to one side and a little compaction to the edge of the base but overall the pot is in a very nice condition with only light wear
and no major damages.
