~ Mid 19th Century Staffordshire Two Face Jug Pair Of A Man In A Turban ~

The pair of handleless jugs depicts a rosy-cheeked Turkish gentleman with a tasselled pink turban. The base is cobalt blue with a gilt line. The base is marked with a red 'C'. They date to around 1860.

~ Condition ~

There are a couple of flea bit chips to the rims. They are free from major chips and cracks. The glaze is free from loss, there is minor wear to the gilding.

~ Dimensions ~

The pieces are each 9 cm (3.5 inches) wide by 7.5  cm (3 inches) deep by 8.5 cm (3.25 inches) tall.
