A large ‘Mountain Engineers’ construction set in original box from Meccano dating to the 1960’s.

The mountain Engineers set (no. 7) was one of 10 sets produced in the 1960’s with the new look yellow plates (with other parts in black and blue) as opposed to the older red and green plates.

~ Dimensions ~

The boxed set measures 42cm (16 ½ inches) by 47cm (18 ½ inches).

It weighs 4.8 Kg

~ Condition ~

The box is somewhat worn with reasonable amounts of tape used to secure the corners and edges.

The set appears to be fully present (but unchecked) with plenty of screws, nuts, bolts etc.
