~ 1900 Dated Martini Henry Cadet Bayonet and Scabbard ~

Here is a good example of a M1860 short Martini Henry Cadet bayonet, just a shorter, easier to use version of the large yataghan bayonet.

The grip is stamped with a unit mark, but is only partially visible.

The blade is dated February 1900 and bears a series of Enfield proofmarks and the Queen's Crown above VF. The chape is stamped with the number 50.

The piece comes with its original black leather scabbard.

~ Condition ~

As seen in the pictures the blade remains clean. The grip and crossguard developed some surface rust, but is not serious.

The scabbard has some age wear but it is still quite fine for its age.

~ Dimensions ~

The blade is 13inches (33cm) long. With an overall length of the bayonet of 18 inches (46 cm).
