The cannon has trunnions, fore and rear sights and a swirl pattern to the barrel.

In the Malay Archipelago, especially in the Borneo and Indonesian island, the miniature cannons served as preferred monetary tender, desirable marriage dowry and were treasured as an heirloom and a status symbol.

The bore is clear as is the touch hole. It is in good order.

The cannon is 19 cm (7.5 inches) in total length. The bore is 14 mm (0.6 inches). It weighs 0.48 Kg.
