A lovely sterling silver card case used to carry and store calling cards.

The case has floral engraving both front and back, with a plain circular cartouche to the front which could be engraved if you wish.

Two buttons to the sides cause the top of the case to flip open.

The case is hallmarked for London sterling silver but the date mark is rather worn.

It is marked inside with the lion passant and the makers mark of ‘CB&S’.

The case comes with a vintage calling card.

The case measures 8.5cm x 4cm.

It weighs 45g.

The card included measures 7.5cm by 3.8cm (the case does not take a modern standard size card).

~ Condition ~

The case is in a very nice condition with only minimal wear from use.

The mechanism is in decent working order.
