~ Charles Ford Art Noveau Cobalt Blue Flower Pattern Plate c.1874 ~
This lovely china cabinet plate is hand painted and gilded. It depicts an embossed golden butterfly amongst blue flowers with gilded detail. These are sited on a cobalt blue background with darker painted tree branches.
The plate is marked underneath 'CF' for Charles Ford.

The plate has diameter of 9 inches (23cm) and it weights 445 grams.
~ Condition ~
The condition of the plate is very decent with no chips or cracks. The gilding is slightly worn mainly to the rim.
