This is a large George VI period bell that features the Royal Cipher. This would most likely be from a fire engine and would have been used during the 1930s. The bell is has an approximate 25cm diameter at the widest point. It is still with its original fixing and clapper and has a great tone.
*Condition*
The bell is in very good condition for its age and usage. The fixing is rusted in patches and there is some loss of colour to the bell. The clapper and handle are strong and undamaged. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
