~ King George V 1846 Pattern Royal Naval Reserve Officers Sword & Scabbard ~
The ricasso has a proofing star to one side and is blank to the other. The blade's spine is marked 'LONDON MADE'.
The etched blade bears the cypher for G.V.R. and the Kings crown with scrollwork to one side. The other side is the same except for the cypher being replaced by the fouled anchor. It also has a 3/4 length single fuller.
The gilt brass guard is of the usual 1846 pattern format but with R.N.R. added in high relief letters within the crown roundel.
It comes with its scabbard.
~ Condition ~
The sword is in great condition with a very clean blade.
The scabbard is in good order with tight stitching.
~ Dimensions ~
The sword is 94 cm (37 inches) long with a 79 cm (31 inches) blade. The set weighs 1.16 Kg.

UK postage is £25, international at cost. It can of course be inspected in our shop.
