A beautiful hand-painted ceramic figurine of Marilyn Monroe by Kevin Francis of Peggy Davis Ceramics, modelled by Andy Moss to the design of John Michael.

The piece was part of the ‘Twentieth Century Icon’ series and is in the colourway no.1; ‘Purple Basque’.

This was a limited edition piece of 2000 figurines with numbers 1 – 500 in this colourway. This is piece no. 379.

The figurine is in the form of Marilyn Monroe wearing a purple basque resting on a mottled blue plinth with a feather fan by her side.

There are the usual stamps to the underside.

The figurine comes in its original box.

The figurine stands at 25cm (9 ¾ inches).

The piece along with box weighs 2.3Kg

The figurine is in great condition with no damage or wear.

The box is in decent order.
