~ Ingersoll Chrome Plated Wristwatch ~
A vintage Ingersoll manual wristwatch of chromed metal with stainless steel case-back.
The watch has a white dial with Arabic numerals an outer minutes ring and two gold coloured hands.
There is a subsidiary seconds dial with sweeping hand just above the 6 o’clock position.
The dial is named ‘Ingersoll, 15 jewel Lever’ and also reads Swiss Made’.
The watch has a Swiss made, 15 jewel, 190 calibre manual movement.
~ Dimensions ~
The dial has a diameter of 27mm while the watch measures 31mm across the bezel (33mm including crown).
The watch and strap have a length of 24cm (9 ½ inches).
It weighs 31.4g.
~ Condition ~
The crystal has yellowed and bears some scratches.
The chrome on the bezel is a little worn in places and the case is rather dented to the reverse.
One of the hands is a little bent at the tip, which when changing the time has a tendency to stick a little but is in working order nonetheless.
The strap is worn but functional.
The dial is reasonably clean and the movement is in good working order.
