An inert First World War German M1914 Rifle grenade with range
limiting disc attachment.

The M1914 was an upgrade to the less efficient M1913.

The piece consists of a tubular cast iron fragmentation grenade
with a brass fuse mounted to the tip and a long steel tail.

This grenade is also fitted with a range limiting ‘cupola’ or disc.

It can be broken down easily to its component parts (see
photos).

~ Dimensions ~

The total length of the grenade with tail is 60cm (23 ½ inches).

It weighs 800g.

~ Condition ~

The grenade is in a very good condition with no damages, only
the patina and general wear expected of a piece of this age.

All the screw threads are in good order making it easy to strip
down.
