Marked along the barrel: M.P.GWL. 4016-1952-1967
Approximate Measurements: 105cm overall, barrel 64.2cm
Indian Percussion Musket with brass buttplate, brass trigger guard and ramrod catch, steel ram rod. The lock plate is blank but the blued barrel is marked: 38/89 and the later marking on the barrel M.P.GWL. 4016-1952-1967 which could have been related to 1952 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections. The brass trigger guard also has Indian markings.
*Condition*
Good used condition. Cocks and dry-fires. The musket has a wonderful patina commensurate with age and service. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
