The Indian Flintlock Jezail Musket, notable for its long barrel and intricate inlays, was a traditional firearm used primarily in Afghanistan and the North-West Frontier during the 18th and 19th centuries. Known for its accuracy over long distances, it featured a large bore and a flintlock mechanism, with later models sometimes converted to percussion caps. Widely used in guerrilla warfare against British forces during the Anglo-Afghan Wars, the Jezail's long-range capabilities made it formidable in mountainous terrains. Today, these muskets are valued for their historical significance and craftsmanship, symbolizing the cultural heritage of the region.
