The fine example, from circa 1901, is in the shape of a Georgian twin compartment tea caddy with two hinged lids and a brass handle. It has a flared lower rim.

All four sides and the two lids bear embossed medieval scenes based around the theme of a joust.

The underside bears printed details about Huntley And Palmers.

~ Condition ~

The tin is in excellent order with no dents and just minor loss to the paint, mostly on the lower edge. The colours remain vibrant. The lids open and close with a tight fit.

~ Dimensions ~

The tin is 23 cm (9 inches) wide,

12.5 cm (5 inches) deep and 8.5 cm (3.5 inches) tall.
