This is a plaster cast copy with a painted finish. It is a round plaque with roped border and crown. The centre depicts a stylised seahorse.

It is presented on a wooden plaque, bored with two screw holes.

HMS Orwell (G98) was an O-class destroyer launched in 1942, converted to a Type 16 frigate in 1952 and sold in 1965.

All in good order with some wear to the paint.

The badge is 22.5 cm (9 inches) tall by 17.5 cm (7 inches) wide.
