A bronze wardroom badge from the Royal Navy Orion Class Dreadnought Battleship ‘HMS Orion’ (Launched 20 August 1910).

Made of cast bronze depicting central figure (Orion) with surrounding legend ‘HMS Orion 1787.1854.1879.1911’.  These numbers relate to the dates of launch of past ships also named HMS Orion.

The badge is presented on a shield shaped oak mount with chain to reverse for hanging.

The badge has a diameter of 16.5cm (6 ½ inches).

The mount measures 27cm (10 ½ inches) by 20cm (8 inches).

It weighs 2.1 Kg

~ Condition ~

The badge is in great condition with no damage and the mount is in good order with only light wear associated with age.
