~ Good Early 1827 Pattern Royal Navy Officers Pipeback Sword In Untouched Order ~

The sword has a heavy blade with pipeback reinforcement. The guard is heavy and gilded. It has a grip covered with sharkskin and is wire bound. The blade is nicely etched including the fouled anchor.

The sword is an early example dating to around 1830.

~ Condition ~

The sword is in excellent condition for its age, there are nicks to the edge. The flap works well. There is no scabbard.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 95 cm (37.5 inches) in total length with a 79 cm (31 inches) blade.
