This limited edition Gippe Vasari original is a fine example of craftsmanship.
It was made in Italy.
It depicts a cavalier, rapier in hand (the sword is threaded and can be removed) on horseback, with the horse preparing to ride into the distance. It has been carved & created with many fine details.
The figurine is made of solid bronze with 22k Gold and .800 Silver accents set on top of a three tiered base made of green and brown onyx.
It was produced for Gorham Silver Co, numbered 94 of 400 by a plate attached to the base.
The right boot is signed.

The base has a diameter of 5 inches (12.7 cm). The statue has a width of 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) & a height (on base) of 8 inches (20.2 cm). It weighs 2.62 kg.
