*German, WW2, Kriegsmarine Officers Side Cap, Very Good Condition*
This is a German Kriegsmarine side cap from World War 2. The hat is a dark blue colour and features the German Eagle (Parteiadler as it looks to its left shoulder) and the German cockade beneath it. Both the Nazi eagle and cockade are Bevo style, machine woven, originally applied to the cap with hand stitching for the eagle and straight machine stitching for the cockade. The cap is inscribed what could be "Sence" inside.
This cap was worn by all naval ratings while on board ship.
