German WW2 Boot Knife Without Scabbard

This is a beautifully crafted example of a German boot knife.

The handle has oak pieces on either side of the tang, which is held together by three metal screws.

The crosspiece is made out of metal and so is the blade.

The knife does not have its scabbard.

~ Dimensions ~

The knife length is 11 ½ inches (29.2 cm) and the blade length is 7 inches (18 cm).

The weight is 195g.

~ Condition ~

The woodwork has minor scratches but is in otherwise good condition.

There is some rust and nick showing activities on the crosspiece and the blade but the item has aged well.

There is some pitting on the blade but the item is in good order.
