~ German Made Brazilian Contract 1908 pattern Bayonet with Scabbard ~

The bayonet was used with the Brazilian 7mm Mauser Rifle and carbine 1908- 1934.
Bayonet features a steel pommel with working external release button, with 2 steel rivets and wooden grips and metal hooked quillion guard serial numbered s8551.
The scabbard is serial numbered s8551 as well.
The single fullered steel blade shows B beneath the factory stamp to the back edge ricasso and the manufacturer's name Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie Solingen on one side of the ricasso.

The piece is excellent.

The blade is 30cm long.
