~ George V Royal Navy 1891 Pattern Midshipman's Dress Dirk And Scabbard By Wilkinson Sword ~

The dirk has a single-edged blade with a spear tip, typical burnished Arabesque decoration with a fouled anchor and crowned GvR monogram, maker's mark for Wilkinson Sword & Co on the ricasso, brass guard with acorn finials, and a single langet of crowned fouled anchor in laurel
wreath, wire-bound sharkskin grip, and a lion pommel back-strap.  The black leather scabbard has a brass chape and mouthpiece, two suspension rings, and a spring-release button. It is initialled P.H.K.

There are several rust spots on the blade, and the etching is worn but still clear.

The dirk fits the scabbard smoothly.
