For sale is a Martindale Crocodile Machete 1956 used in the Mau Mau uprising.  Narrow slab-sided two-piece black plastic grips which broaden slightly towards pommel. Grips are secured to tang by five recessed copper rivets with washers; the two rivets nearer pommel are arranged one above the other. Comes with robust leather scabbard dated 1952.

*Condition*

The machete and scabbard are in very good condition. The blade and the grip do show signs of use but are still in great condition. The scabbard is still very much intact but it does show have some scratches.
