~ Gents Vintage 1920's Helvetia Wristwatch ~
This is a lovely vintage Helvetia manual winding Gents watch.
The case, case back, bezel and crown are all of plain stainless steel. The crystal is convex.
The watch has a cream dial with minute increments around the circumference, Arabic numbers, a small seconds dial above the 6 o’clock position and has black outlined hands
The dial is printed with ‘Helvetia’ and ‘Swiss Made’.
The case back is marked with a serial no. 3554 and ‘Stainless Steel Back’.
The inside of the case back is marked ‘Swiss Made, 4395196, 140’.
The movement is marked ‘Helvetia, Swiss Made, 32C’.
The watch has a textured brown leather strap.
~ Dimensions ~
The watch case measures 3cm by 3.4cm. The length of the watch case and strap together is 9 ½ inches (24cm) long. Together they weigh 24g.
~ Condition ~
The watch is in very good condition. The case has some minor wear, the crystal has some light scratching and the dial is a little grubby. The strap is in good order. The watch runs and adjusts well.
