A charming gold plated gents dress watch by the Swiss watch manufacturer Favre-Leuba (Bovet).
In 1948, Favre-Leuba purchased the name and production facilities of the watch manufacturer ‘Bovet’ and from 1948-1950 made watches under the co-branded name of Favre-Leuba Bovet.
The watch has a gold-plated case with a stainless steel case-back and comes on a gold tone stainless steel stretch bracelet.
This piece features a honeycomb textured dial, with applied gold markers and numerals. It has two gold hands and a sweeping seconds hand.
The dial is named ‘Favre-Leuba Bovet’ and also reads ‘Automatic, Swiss Made’.
The watch has an automatic movement.
