A gents Rolex Tudor wristwatch dated 1954 with a 9ct gold cushion shaped case.

The watch has a a circular white dial with both raised gold Arabic and baton hours, two gold hands and a sweeping seconds hand.

The dial is named ‘Tudor’ and also reads ‘Swiss’ to the lower edge.

The case-back is engraved ‘SMD to THS, 25/08/56’.

The case is marked inside with serial numbers of ‘12102’ and ‘639879’

It is hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham 1954 with a makers mark of ‘ALD’ and is also marked ‘Dennison Made in England for Rolex’.

The watch has a 15 rubies manual wind Swiss movement named ‘Tudor’.

The watch comes on a vintage black leather strap.
