~ Frankenthal 1762 To 1799 Porcelain Figurine Group Of A Male Musician And A Female Holding Sheet Music ~

The figurine depicts a flutist and a female holding sheet music. It has an underglazed blue stamp from the Frankenthal factory that only produced porcelain between the dates of 1762 – 1799 (Prince Elector Carl Theodor Period). The figurines are pastel coloured with floral designs on the waistcoat and dress.

~ Condition ~

There are firing cracks to the base. The flutist has damage to the fingers, the end of the flute and there is damage to the music sheet held by the female.

~ Dimensions ~

The group is 16 cm (6.25 inches) tall.
