~ Framed Watercolour Of J Class Yacht By Colin Baxter ~
This fine watercolour on paper by Colin M. Baxter (British, Master Mariner, born 1963) depicts the J class yacht Candida (K8) under spinnaker sails passing No Mans Land Fort in the Solent, circa 1935, with Shamrock V (J-K3) behind and a Camper and Nicholsons built launch in the foreground. It is signed to the lower right. The painting is well presented in a wooden frame which is glazed and has double lined mounts.
