A framed set of six black and white photographs of Royal Navy ships along with colour illustrations of the ships badges.
The ships included are:
HMS Victorious 1944
HMS Alert 1944-1945
HMS Magpie 1948
HMS Cadiz 1948-1950
HMS Messina 1950-1951
HMS Belfast 1945-1948
The first five photographs are of the same size with HMS Belfast being a blown up centrepiece.
The photos and illustrations are all set in a single multi aperture, light blue mount. This is presented in a glazed frame.
~ Dimensions ~
The first five photographs measure 5 inches (12.5cm) by 3 ¼ inches (8.25cm) each. The photo of HMS Belfast measures 19 inches (48cm) by 7 inches (18cm). The ships badge illustrations measure 3 ¾ inches (9.5cm) by 4 ¼ inches (11cm).
The framed set measures 33 ½ inches (85cm) square and weighs 6.52 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in lovely condition without fading or foxing. The frame is in good order with some minor scratches.
